Christmas Day...

Our Christmas table before the guests arrived!
So fun to share a meal together with these friends on Christmas Day! Thanks Butch and Sally for opening your dorm 'home' to us!
The White Elephant gift exchanged produced some good laughs!
Don't ask what it is...I don't know. I do not even know where it came from!!

A Merry Christmas indeed!

Photo credits for these pictures go to Shawna! Shawna came to Zurich on Christmas Eve day and got to spend Christmas Eve with us! We were delighted to have her here!
Our very wonderful friends...the Stemples! They are our 'family' here in Germany!
The fountain in Kandern made into an Advent Wreath for the holidays. It really is beautiful all lit up.

More Christmas Markets...

Woke up to a snowy morning and then off we went to scout out another Christmas Market or two!!

Finger puppets from Peru?? Never expected to see this...they sure were cute and fun!

These two sure did a great job playing cow bells...quite different from hand bells.

Time for a walk in the winter wonderland and park.

A wonderful day at a Christmas Market...

Had a great time at a Christmas Market today. It was sunny, a bit nippy but still very enjoyable!

Advent Wreathes all ready for the first Advent tomorrow.
The ice skating rink right in the middle of some of the booths added a nice touch.
Some of the displays... little angels hard at work...
 Oma fluffing the feather tick...

Father Christmas looking for children to talk to...

Wonderful music coming from these children.

The ever popular 'wurst' stand.  We had never seen such a big grill!
This little girl did such a nice job (all by herself)
