ICEC Conference...hosted by BFA

Best part about the conference for me?? My sister got to come and we had some great times together! The pictures in this post are all hers. Thankfully, she had time to go around and take pictures! Thanks, Sandee, for taking these pictures and sending them to me!
Taking some of the 475 pretzel rolls off the pans in prep for the am coffee break.
Some of the 700 plus cookies...
These ladies, Kay and Sally, were with me for every coffee break! I could not have done this without you ladies.

Wonderful friends who helped as well!

A new friend Corinne who did some amazing flower arrangements for the conference. She ordered a truck load (no kidding!!) and did wonders with them...after the conference we all left with bouquets!

For those of you who are interested...it was BFA's privilege to host an Educators Conference a little over a week ago. About 330 registered for the conference and added to that was 30 - 40 volunteers. The registered educators came from all over Europe and Africa. We welcomed them with chilly spring weather...including two days of snow. My job was to oversee 5 all-conference coffee breaks. Before the conference I baked 22 long loaves of sweet breads, 700 plus cookies (with the help of a dear friend), 450 scones and during the conference we baked 475 pretzel rolls for one of the morning breaks. Each break we served one of the above snacks and close to 350 cups of coffee plus many cups of tea. It was a lot of work but we all thoroughly enjoyed our time with everyone.
